We have a fantastic team of Undergraduates who play an integral role in our research. We are dedicated to providing training opportunities for students who are interested at all levels. We periodically accept new research assistants to assist in our lab for course credits or to volunteer.

Join us as a Graduate Student

Dr. Ha is accepting graduate students for fall 2019. Graduate students in our lab often participate in our ongoing research projects and are encouraged to develop and implement their own independent research projects within our laboratory. Join us as an Undergraduate Student (PSY 399 or PSY 499)

This course is designed to give undergraduate students hands-on experience conducting research in psychology.  Through attending weekly lab meetings and working in teams, students learn how research ideas are generated and specific hypotheses formed, research studies are designed to test these hypotheses, various research methods are used, data are collected and analyzed, and results are presented at meetings and in scientific publications.  This course is expected to be especially useful for students planning on pursuing a career in psychology and research.

Students interested in applying for a Research Assistant position should meet the following criteria:

  • good academic standing

  • can commit to a minimum of 6 hours per week 

  • interested in pursuing graduate education & research in psychology

  • conscientious, curious, and able to learn through hands-on experience

All students interested in a RA position through PSY 399 of 499 are required to submit an online application to obtain permission before enrolling in the class.
